There are many varieties of flavored yogurts available in super markets and it is a favorite for many of us :-). Compare that with the home made fresh smoothie, and I would say the taste doesn’t even come close.
This smoothie is made using frozen or cold yogurt/curd. If you use frozen yogurt, you may have to keep it outside for 5-10 minutes to take it out from the cup/jar and break into pieces.
Strawberry Smoothie/Home-made Strawberry Flavored Yogurt
Ingredients
- Fresh Strawberries : 4-5 Nos. [Or use 2 teaspoons organic strawberry spread]
- Cashew Nuts : 10-12 Nos.
- Honey : 2 teaspoons
- Sugar : 3/4 cup [Add more if you want very sweet one]
- Yogurt/Curd : 400g (Frozen or Cold)
Preparation
Step 1:
If frozen, take out the yogurt from the cup/jar and break into small pieces to add in the juicer. Keep it aside. If you use cold unfrozen yogurt, skip this step.
Step 2:
In a juicer (or in a mixer grinder) add fresh strawberries or strawberry spread, Cashew nuts, Sugar and mix well. Add honey, and mix it again.
Step 3:
In the juicer (from Step 2) add yogurt and mix very well. That’s it!
Yummy yummy strawberry smoothie is ready to enjoy 🙂
